Pink Amethyst is a newly discovered form of Quartz from Patagonia, Argentina. The color range is tones of rose, mauve and salmon pink, however it is different in tone and clarity from that of Rose Quartz. To clarify and compare against Pink Amethyst, Rose Quartz gets it’s pink color from manganese, titanium and/or iron inclusions. The color of Pink Amethyst comes from inclusions of Hematite and iron inside the quartz points. Since its color is very subtle, it is difficult to find, making them a rare Gemstone. The frequency of Pink Amethyst connects to the heart, third eye and crown Chakras stimulating these Chakras so that one is open to the love and guidance from one’s soul. The grounding energies of hematite help one to connect with the Earth’s Schumann resonance and to release unwanted stress and trauma from the heart Chakra. Using the heart Chakra this crystal helps one to view one’s life’s experiences from the higher perspective of one’s soul and therefore allows one to act with a strong sense of divine love.
Some of these Geodes also form with Dogtooth Calcite integrated inside of them. Calcite supports and increases development on both a physical and spiritual level. It is one of the best clearing/cleansing minerals, filtering away that which is not wanted or needed. It removes friction and dissonance, creating clarity and it is used to stimulate insight and boost memory, making it excellent for study. It also opens and strengthens the Chakras, and encourages stability and self-trust, while helping us to transform our ideas into actions. “Dog’s tooth,” refers to the scalenohedral shape of the crystal.
When these two crystals combine, the loving and intuitive energies of Pink Amethyst are amplified by the cleansing and clearing energies of Dogtooth Calcite. This creates a wonderful combination for meditation, and allows for one to realize that the love we seek is already within us and that now is the time to radiate this love to make the world a better place.
