  MY MOON IS IN LEO – WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

  IGNITE YOUR INTENTIONS

  The new moon is always a good time to set new intentions and work towards new manifestations. With the Sun in its own sign of powerful, confident Leo, now is the moment to take advantage of the added strength. This ritual is designed to direct Leo’s sunny, fiery energy into whatever intention you have for this lunar cycle. Feel free to add crystals and items that match your intention, in addition to the ones presented here.

  MATERIALS:

  • Dragon’s blood sage bundle or incense of your choice
  • Gold ritual candle
  • Lighter or matches
  • Optional: chime candle holder
  • Citrine
  • Golden topaz
  • Pyrite
  • Optional: clear quartz (for amplification)
  • Pen and paper
  

  1. PREPARE YOUR RITUAL:

  Begin by creating a sacred space. Prepare a flat surface where you can perform your ritual without it being disturbed. If you have an altar or dedicated space you can use that, but it isn’t required. You may want to wipe down your space and clear away any clutter.

  Next, light your dragon’s blood sage. This special bundle combines the cleansing power of sage with the powerful properties of dragon’s blood resin. We chose this cleansing bundle for this ritual because its red color represents fire – the key element of the ritual. However, dragon’s blood resin also burns with a potent earthy smell, which can help keep you grounded as you work. We absolutely love this bundle!

  Place the gold candle in the center of your work space. If you don’t have a candle holder, you can burn the bottom of the candle and stick it to a heat-safe dish – just make sure it’s standing straight up and secure! Don’t leave the candle unattended.

  Arrange the citrine, golden topaz, and pyrite in a triangle around your candle. In sacred geometry, the triangle represents harmony and can guide us towards higher consciousness. By arranging the crystals in this configuration, you ensure that your manifestations will happen smoothly and without conflict.

  The crystals in this ritual were chosen for their manifestation power, as well as for their color – Leo is ruled by the Sun, and the golden-yellow hues of citrine, golden topaz, and pyrite will invite the Sun’s energy to guide us during the ritual. Additionally, citrine brings joy (enhanced by the Sun), golden topaz brings confidence and creativity (both Leo themes), and pyrite brings an element of luck.

  2. PERFORM YOUR RITUAL:

  To begin your ritual, take a few deep breaths to center your energy. Begin to turn your mind towards the intentions you want to set for this ritual. Close your eyes and visualize them as clearly as you can in your mind. If you’re having trouble, feel free to speak out loud what it is you want to manifest. Picture your intention as if it’s already happened. Once you have a clear mental image, you can move on to the next step.

  Second, take your pen and paper. Write the intentions you wish to manifest on the paper using the present tense. By writing in the present tense, you assert that the things you want are already in your life. This way, you strengthen your manifestation. For example, if you want to manifest a new job, you could write something like, “I am fulfilled in my work. I have my dream job.”

  

  Once you’ve written your manifestations, fold the paper towards you three times. Place the paper under the candle (under whatever the candle is resting in or on), in the center of your crystal triangle.

  Finally, light your candle. As you light it, speak your manifestations out loud. As the candle burns down, your intentions will be sent out into the Universe. Let the candle burn down completely if you can, otherwise you can extinguish it and come back to it later.
